iPod Nano battery affected by moon’s gravitational pull

I was looking around for the availability and pricing for us Canadian consumers regarding Apple’s new iPod Nanos. I naturally went to futureshop.ca (Future Shop is owned by Best Buy) and found something interesting regarding the Nano’s battery. According to Futureshop:

*Battery life is dependent on several factors, including frequency of searching/song selection, temperature and possibly the moon’s gravitation pull. Times are estimations.

I took the liberty of taking screenshots in case they decide to remove it. If you want to see for yourself, then just go to http://www.futureshop.ca/ and browse for the Apple iPod Nano 2GB Silver. Scroll to the bottom of the “Features and Specs” page and there it is (or you can just click here).

:D gives me some chuckles. I know it’s seriously stated, but looks like batteries are affected by the laws of Physics. :)

So, does the gravitational pull of the moon (e.g. when moon’s in apogee/perigee) affects the battery’s shelf life, making it more vulnerable to damage?! :(
