I was looking around for the availability and pricing for us Canadian consumers regarding Apple’s new iPod Nanos. I naturally went to futureshop.ca (Future Shop is owned by Best Buy) and found something interesting regarding the Nano’s battery. According to Futureshop:
*Battery life is dependent on several factors, including frequency of searching/song selection, temperature and possibly the moon’s gravitation pull. Times are estimations.
I took the liberty of taking screenshots in case they decide to remove it. If you want to see for yourself, then just go to http://www.futureshop.ca/ and browse for the Apple iPod Nano 2GB Silver. Scroll to the bottom of the “Features and Specs” page and there it is (or you can just click here).
There it is. Highlighted for your convenience.

So, does the gravitational pull of the moon (e.g. when moon’s in apogee/perigee) affects the battery’s shelf life, making it more vulnerable to damage?!
